We, the Afghan Negotiating Team, met Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, Chairman of the High Council for National Reconciliation, & reflected on our preparedness for the intra-Afghan talks. We also deliberated on the ways & means to achieving a long lasting peace.

We, the negotiating team met President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani on the onset of the intra-Afghan prospective peace talks. Stressed on the vitality of Loya Jirga resolution & the pertinence of the constitutional principles as we soon embark on the discourses with the Taliban.

On the sidelines of the LoyaJirga, I met the esteemed delegates from Balkh, Konduz, Faryab, Samangan, and Sar-e-Pul provinces. Commended their active participation in consolidating the peace process. I assured them of our resolve that will encompass an inclusive Afghanistan.
